Diving
If you mention Thailand many people often start to think about beautiful beaches and diving. The diving opportunities are big and they are in world class. Along the coast lines there are diving centers everywhere. They offer diving courses that is 3-4 days long and will give you a PADI openwater certificate, and this is valid in the whole world.
Culture
Chang Mai
Many people that travels to Thailand, especially backpackers choose to go to the northern part of the country. In particular Chang Mai. This place has become a form of Mecca for the adventures. Here you can find all types of trekking tours, white-water rafting, bungee jump and magical temple. If you want to experience the real and true Thailand then Chang Mai is the place to do it.
Wat Rong Khun
The temple is known as the white temple and is a spectacular temple that is build completely in white and silver. The white temple is a contemporary, privately owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province. The owner is Chalermchai Kositpipat who designed, constructed and opened it to visitors in 1997. You can go there all year around and it is admission is free.
Koh Samet
Is one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. Only 3 hours from Bangkok you reach this island. It is a small island, 5 kilometers on its length and 1 kilometer wide, but despite this the island has several beautiful beaches with Thailand´s whitest sand and amazing turquoise ocean.
Climate
Thailand is warm and moist. Bangkok is for example the world’s warmest capital.
Between December and January is the average temperature around 25 degrees Celsius.
During April – May is the average temperature around 30 degrees Celsius.
The wet monsoon period is from May – October and the dry period is during November – March.
