What do I get for my money?
The money you pay to travel with us as a volunteer goes to your accommodation, food, local transport, and excursions, and of course as a support to the organization you are visiting. Once in place, you are working as a volunteer without any financial compensation.
Most of the people in the countries that you will be visiting are extremely poor and many would like to have your volunteer position in return for food and shelter. Because we do not want to take jobs from the countries’ residents or burden the country in any other way, it is you yourself who stands for all the costs. Your stay in the country should create jobs instead. You should also be a benefit to the local community economics, for example by purchasing local produce and using local services.
